Lewars, Esther: - Esther Lewars is a lifelong learner and educator, who is passionate about educational technology, information literacy, and being aligned with God's destined purpose. She values being helpful and tries to show up in the world as her most authentic self. Her most fitting titles include Educational Technology Specialist, Supervisor, Adjunct Professor, City of Newark Caribbean Commissioner, and Google for Education Certified Trainer.She is the founder of Vernov Technology Group, LLC, which provides technology training and digital design services. She is a 21-year employee at the Newark Board of Education where she spent 18 years training teachers how to integrate technology in the classroom and providing computer instruction to students. She is currently a supervisor in the Student Information Services Department where she supports elementary schools with managing their students' PowerSchool data. As a seven-year adjunct professor at NJ Institute of Technology, she has taught courses such as Introduction to Information Systems, Computers, Ethics and Society, and most recently Professional Development in Computing.
