JIM EDLIN is professor of biblical literature and languages and the Dean of the School of Religion and Philosophy at MidAmerica Nazarene University. He earned an MDiv from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a ThM and PhD in Old Testament studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
