Mary Jean teachman was born in Detroit, Michigan. She studied pre-law and mathematics at the University of Detroit and had two children, Arthur Forrest Tull, II and Valarie Tull. She divorced, married Mort Lieberman, was widowed, then found love again with Dr. Gerard W. Teachman, and has been married for twenty-three years. She had a successful career for eight years as runway and print model, and appeared in Vogue magazine. She's been an avid gardner, gourmet cook, and investor, but her primary interest has always been her family. She resides in Juno Beach, Florida and Asheville, North Carolina with her husband and their cat, Jackson.
