Of Time or Eternity

Lar, an immortal being, witnesses the birth of a new universe. He is eager to set out and explore it because for eons he has tried to help emerging races create perfect civilizations. Although experiencing many failures, he persists in his goal, conveniently forgetting past mistakes. Now, in the heart of this new universe, a xenophobic race rises to prominence and streaks across the galaxy, determined to seize complete control and annihilate all who oppose them. When Lar encounters the xenophobic race, the Q'ruun D'that, he knows he must escape and warn the rest of the universe-his universe-of their coming. Somewhere out among the stars, Lar must find those who will stop the Q'ruun D'that. After once having to watch an entire universe dissolve into war, Lar stops running this time and sets out to create a civilization that will be strong enough to resist the Q'ruun D'that. Unlike his previous travels, he will now have help, but he must civilize and unite a galaxy. Although evil forces oppose him at every turn, Lar will not be denied his quest for the perfect society.
