About the Author
Born 1927, Vahan Gregory is a noted playwright, sculptor, poet, and author of numerous books. His first novel, "Oh Boy, Here Comes Walt!" was dubbed "a minor classic!" by Robert Kirsch of the L.A. Times. Mr. Gregory's stories have been anthologized in Martha Foley's BEST AMERICAN SHORT STORIES and in two college texts. His poetry has appeared in many of the university quarterlies, while his hit play "AN I FOR AN I" (which ran a record 22 months in Los Angeles) resulted in his being picked BEST NEW PLAYWRIGHT OF THE YEAR with these words by critic Richard Mentzer: "Gregory stands on the threshold of an amazing career.
