The premise is that churches follow the declaration of the gospel, the preaching and teaching of how Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah, who became an atonement for humans' sin, and whose resurrection precedes that of his believers who trust him for salvation.

About the Author
William H Jones ministered in several Baptist Churches in Ontario. He also served as manager and editor of The Canadian Baptist magazine for a dozen plus years. He was president of The Canadian Church press. He is a graduate of McMaster University and Divinity College (BA, BD, MTH); New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MRE, EDS); and Sioux Falls Seminary (DMIN). He married Glee in 1955.
