About the Author
I am a fifty year old single, male, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; seventh of eight children, and a proud Disabled Veteran of the United States Army. I am currently a recovering addict, who, during the height of my addiction performed poetry on the subway trains of New York City. Over the course of two years, I may have performed in front of an estimated two hundred thousand people. I was noticed to be the best under Broadway actor in New York City. The chief inspiration of writing poetry was my God and his infinite mercy and grace. On more than seventy different occasions in moments of great despair I wanted to commit suicide and God saw fit to bless me with the gift of poetry, it was his way of rescuing me from the man I could have become. Because of my faith in God and his love for me, I am a new and better man today and I hope and pray that anyone who has gone through difficult times in their life or want to feel good about something read and enjoy this book.
