About the Author

Andrej Malchukov is a senior researcher at the Institute of Linguistic Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences, St-Petersburg), currently affiliated to Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology (Leipzig). He is the editor, with Leonid Kulikov and Peter de Swart, of Case, Valency and
Transitivity (Benjamins, 2006) and the author of Nominalization/Verbalization (Lincom, 2004)

Andrew Spencer is Professor of Linguistics at the University of Essex. He is the editor, with Arnold Zwicky, of The Handbook of Morphology (Blackwell, 1998) and the author of Phonology: Description and Analysis (Blackwell, 1996) and Morphological Theory (Blackwell, 1991).
