Passage to America: Adjustment of Status

When Kathrina first travels to the United States from Manila with her family, she is excited to see a new country and experience a new culture. In an unexpected turn of events, she remains in the US and lives there.

Years later, Kathrina finds herself working for a cranky, ungrateful man and dating a lackluster boyfriend with no ambitions. Kathrina wants to be an American citizen, and live without fear of deportation. Her heart longs for her American dream to be fulfilled and she will stop at nothing to achieve it.
