Phoebe's Ghost

A shocking change had come over Carol since her widowed father unknowingly married a cruel and money-grubbing woman. Carol had become exceedingly sad, quiet, and withdrawn. When, at last, she believed that all was lost, her beloved and very dead grandmother reentered her life. However, death had not changed Grandmother Phoebe Wendell. Hopefully, Carol and her grandmother can keep their family alive and safe from the deceitful stepmother while Carol overcomes her submissiveness and learns to stand up for herself ... and Gram tries to give up smoking.
