About the Author
Joan Z. Shore was born in New York City, graduated from Vassar College, and has lived most of her life in Europe. In Belgium, she founded ViVART! (an art curatorial service) and W.O.E. (Women Overseas for Equality). She was Features Editor of The Brussels Bulletin, and English-language correspondent for Belgium's RTB radio. In France, she was Paris correspondent for CBS News for nearly a decade, and has contributed to Voice of America, CNN, The International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Conde-Nast publications, Boomer Times & Senior Life, and The Huffington Post, among others. She has been guest lecturer on many cruise ships, and has given numerous talks on her first book, "Saging -- How to Grow Older and Wiser".
