Regular: The Saga of a Regular Guy from an Extraordinary Place

Come and enjoy a memoir like no other. We likely all sometimes long for a simpler time and place and for more peace and laughter in our lives. We assure that this book is a great read and has potential to carry you away to an enjoyable place and leave you a happier and more fulfilled person for having read it. Fairview, Utah is a "pretty little town" nestled beneath the majestic mountains of the northern Sanpete Valley. As Sanpete folks cross paths throughout the world, they often connect to their roots through common clues of accent, culture, and folklore. Teacher and author Reg Christensen writes about growing up in Fairview with an engaging voice of passion and humor. He comfortably intertwines the history of the times with the colorful personalities of genuine people. Come and delight in the forthrightness of Uncle Lew as he puts the Cold War in practical perspective with natural wit and wisdom. Smile as Old Hilden offers up his own quick-witted response to the hippie culture. Laugh as Boots perpetuates an endless array of pranks and entertainments upon his fellow Fairviewites. Reg says of his book, "If it were a movie, it would be as an old-style Disney classic full of wholesome, action-packed interplay among engaging characters. I have tried to share with my readers a window into my own life and soul and hope they will smile and ponder the richness of their own lives."
