About the Author
Christine Hoy grew up in Hertfordshire where she worked in the British Film and Television industry until she moved to Spain in 1990, where she set up a property management business with her partner, Brian Harris. With the sale of the business in 2002, came freedom to travel and more time to spend with family in Canada. After returning from a visit to Mombasa, Kenya in 2006, where Christine experienced first-hand the desperate circumstances in which so many young children lived, she was inspired with three others to set up the UK charity GOOD NEWS CHILDREN'S TRUST(UK) for which she still works today, to bring health and education to under-privileged children. Her love of writing has led her to share her personal search for her biological family in her first book entitled SECRET SIBLING. Christine Hoy is mother to three daughters and three grand-daughters and lives in Canada and Spain, where she continues to write, donating all royalties to her charity.
