All over the world the Catholic Church have been scrutinised for their handling of the abuse inflicted on many children in various institutions, run by them. We are not just talking about mental abuse, it also took the form of physical, emotional and sexual. Those abuses took place within indigenous communities & schools, orphanages, Magdalene Laundries and mother and baby homes, and still today on their very own doorstep, the church.
Those who suffered at the hands of the clergy historically are still haunted by that abuse, it will continue to haunt them until the day they die, and for those being abused in today's society, the haunting is only just beginning.
The clergy from mother and baby homes lay in consecrated well attended graves, their secrets they took with them, leaving future generations suffering the aftermath.
Babies and children from those institutions died and lay in unconsecrated grounds having never been put to rest in a coffin, instead wrapped in a piece of cloth and dumped.
What about the missing indigenous children? The question on everyone's lips today, where are the missing children? How many, if any were murdered?
