It also forced me to look in the mirror and realize that I had a lot of unresolved feelings of "unworthiness" and "brokenness" from childhood, and in order for me to move forward, I had to overcome these feelings. I learned much later that these inner struggles made me an ideal target to an individual with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
