Shoeshine Boy

The "Shoeshine Boy" saga chronicles events in the life of a young kid growing up in Boston, Massachusetts. At age ten he's given an opportunity to shine shoes in a shine parlor deep within the "Mob" controlled section of Boston's notorious 'North End'. Unbeknownst to him, the shine parlor is a front for illegal betting from horses to the local 'nigga number' in his community of Roxbury.
