About the Author
As a nationally published journalist, Sharael Kolberg has written about outdoor sports and travel for various magazines, newspapers and Web sites, including Outside magazine, Sunset Magazine and Working Woman magazine. She has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Hawaii. She has also enjoyed exploring the world and has lived abroad, not only in Australia, but also in New Zealand and Argentina. Other favorite places she's visited include Costa Rica, Chile, Italy, Fiji, France and Tahiti. Sharael now calls Orange County her home, where she enjoys hiking with her husband and young daughter.
