I loathe the term "influencer." It sounds like another name for a drug pusher for me. And really, isn't that what those people do? They drug you into believing you need what they have, make you feel like you're not enough, get you hooked on ridiculousness and leave you begging for more.

I have long said I am not trying to influence anyone to do anything except to use nice manners, to be kind and have a good time. I want to ENCOURAGE people--to laugh out loud, to be happy, to be healthy, to be generous and thoughtful, to cook good food, to live well and to enjoy life.

I want to encourage YOU to look for the good, the fun and the happy. There's so much of it out there--even on social media.
