SONET/SDH Demystified

Increasingly, the use of fiber optic cable as a transport for voice, data, video, and Internet traffic is becoming the norm. SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) and SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) are being used with high-speed data transmission.
