Stardust Highways: Ingo Swann's Art of Entertaining
Stardust Highways: Ingo Swann's Art of Entertaining
Although known as the Father of Remote Viewing, Ingo Swann often conveyed his exploration of human potentials through his art. But more than that he was a marvelous chef and host. With his endless love for Miracle Whip(R) and Cool Whip(R), without an electric kitchen tool save a blender, done solely on only a double coil hot plate using cast iron skillets and copper bottom pans, (with a toaster oven as backup), Ingo put his well ingrained cooking and hospitality skills to the test. He produced some the most enchanting dishes, rivaling the best restaurants in Manhattan.
As a celebration of Ingo, Stardust Highways is a behind the scenes look at him as chef and artist, containing stories (part memoir, part autobiographic detail written by Ingo) and photos of Ingo, some never shared before, as an accompaniment to his recipes, art (stretching from his first still life in 1958 to his last painting, The Lightbringer, in the permanent collection of The American Visionary Art Museum) and love for entertaining.
