Jessica was a beautiful 9-year-old girl with dark brown hair and eyes to match. Surfing the internet was second nature to Jess and sometimes the most comfortable place for her to be. Some of her friends were chatting about a new game they'd found online. She found the game and logged on. The game was interesting and fun. She made rapid progress as she moved into the intermediate levels of the game. It was as if, in some way, the game had been designed for her, as she was able to anticipate things before they happened, seemingly guess the right answers, intuitively choose the right paths...she wondered, more than a few times if she was learning from the game or if the game was learning from her...if it could somehow read her mind.
