About the Author
A teaching career that spanned decades, multiple states and thousands of students, began in 1945 in Fortuna, North Dakota. Jewel Johnson, adopted out of a 'State School' in Owatonna, MN was raised and graduated High School in St. Louis Park, MN. While teaching and raising a family of six children, Jewel earned her Masters Degree in Art Education at Ohio University in Athens, OH. Jewel has taught all ages, from pre-schoolers through senior citizens. Jewel continues to teach today at Art Workshops and in the elementary church education program.
