About the Author
Dallabetta, Patrick: - Patrick Dallabetta was a teacher, principal, and superintendent for 37 years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1970, a Master's Degree in 1972, and a Doctor in Educational Administration from Northern Arizona University in 1980. While in college, Dallabetta worked part-time for the Water Resources and Astrogeology Divisions of the United States Geological Survey. He became a secondary teacher of geomorphology, earth science, mineralogy, and geography. After teaching he became a principal and school superintendent, retiring after 37 years in education. During his career he also taught post-graduate courses in educational foundations, leadership, and research for Northern Arizona University. He just published his first book "American Elementary Education: The Longest Pandemic" that describes the problems with elementary school performance in America. He has now changed his writing efforts to children's books for which "The Adventures of Thomas in Hopi Land" is his second book.
