About the Author
Mark Alan Lilly is best known, to his children at least, as their father. To many others, he is known for his work founding Street Yoga, an internationally recognized non-profit based in Portland, OR. Mark has developed practices, curricula and trainings in frontline mindfulness for social workers, doctors, nurses, teachers of all kinds, and citizens on their own healing journeys. He has taught in the US, Canada and Europe, and is currently studying the relationship between grieving, gratitude and over-coming. Mark lives with his family in Portland, sometimes writes software and serves on the boards of Street Yoga and the Yoga Service Council. He walks and swims a lot, likes plants, and dances as often as he can. More can be found at MarkAlanLilly.com.
