About the Author
Duard L Pruitt is neither a politician nor an economist. He is a person who discovered that you don't have to be a PHD to research and understand our economic history and related financial data. Pruitt received an Ensigns Commission in the US Naval Reserve in October 1945, too late for any combat in WWII. He received a BSEE degree from Iowa State College in 1949, and an MSEE degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956. He is now retired from the GE Company, after a career as an electronic engineer for RCA and GE in New Jersey.
