The Ferguson Family Psalm Book

Available at auction for a low price, the Psalm Book was a weather-worn, leather-bound volume that time had not been particularly gentle with since its publication in 1812.

Inside, however, were inscriptions written by the family that brought it with them to Canada from Scotland in the early Nineteenth century, and as it was passed down from one child to the next, each one proudly wrote in it.
