About the Author
MARGARET KEKEWICH taught History in schools, adult education and, until retirement, the Open University where she was a Senior Lecturer in Arts. She has published books and articles on advisers to princes such as Sir John Fortescue and Niccolò Macchiavelli, on the Lancastrian court in exile, and, with Susan Rose, on Britain, France and the Empire, 1350-1500.
