About the Author
Enrique J. Dunayevich is a scholar of Jewish history with a non-traditional orientation, his research focusing on the role of Jewish people in the communities in which they lived. He earned a degree in engineering from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. As a student of the "hard sciences", his research has been conditioned by the rigorous deductive logic of his scientific reasoning and approach. Mr. Dunayevich also studied Medieval history under Professor Carlos Astarita at the Philosophy School of the University of Buenos Aires and while working on this book he was advised by Dr. Marcelo Campagno, professor of Ancient History at the same university. His articles including "Historic Projection of antiSemitism", The 'Non-Jewish' Origin of the Sephardim", "Borges and Wexler", "The Jews and Commerce","Hanukah and the Maccabean Rebellion", and "Passover and the Three Magi", have been published by Convergencia, an organization for a Humanistic and Pluralistic Judaism. The new book he is working on: "From Antijudaism to Antisemitism in I and II Milenium CE" will soon be published.
