About the Author

DIANE KEZIAH ROBERTSON was born in Kent, England. She and her family emigrated to Canada in 1973. As a business owner, Diane imported English lampshades before working for a major Canadian bank. Now retired, she lives in Ontario with her husband.

Inspired by a family ancestor who was a lacemaker, but died young, Diane wrote of a life that never existed and gave it to young Susannah.
