About the Author
Andy and his wife Donna live in Rotonda West located on the Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida. They have been married for forty two years, have two children and six grandchildren. Andy spent most of his career working for Cotter and Company, a co-operative of the owners of True Value Hardware Stores across America. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he graduated from Cleveland State University. He managed True Value regional distribution centers in Cleveland, OH, Kansas City, MO and Allentown, PA. He retired from Cotter and Company in 1995, after thirty three years, as the Eastern Regional Logistic Manager. Working in distribution centers he watched the stuff we use every day go from being "Made in the USA" to being " Made "Somewhere Else" at the expense of American jobs. The Middle Class Feeds Upon Itself is his commentary on the current state of affairs regarding the middle class. He believes the middle class is suffering because of problems that in many cases are self inflicted. His interests include golf, pickleball and writing.
