She and her spouse live on the Chattahoochee River in Duluth, Georgia. They have four children and five grandchildren. Juliana is a certified children's librarian and does storytelling in costumes. Many of her characters are her originals such as Cleana Turner and Holly Parton. She likes to read, travel, paint, Zumba dance, cook, swim, garden, and sew. Juliana has been writing stories, poems, songs, and musicals since age 12.
