The United Nations' Consortium for Aeronautic and Space Exploration (UNCASE) has just selected Michael S. Gibraltar as one of the elite crew for its 11th in a series of secret governmental (Seagu11) projects. A recent discovery in the frigid landscape of the Antarctic has altered the mission's target to a black hole at the very center of our Milky Way galaxy. At three million times the mass of our Sun, the hole is a behemoth of celestial proportions. Before embarking, however, Mike must complete space training and hone up on his sparse knowledge of the physics of black holes and the vagaries of light-speed space travel that the crew must endure. The enormous distances to be traveled will require the most advanced technologies that the 23rd century has to offer. The challenging experience will forever alter Mike's former views on everything from God to that of universal design.

About the Author
T. "Lee" Baumann, M.D. is a "quantum spirituality" author and lecturer living in Birmingham, Alabama. He is also a medical doctor, holding certifications in internal medicine, geriatrics, and medical management. Beginning his spiritual journey as a religious skeptic in the 1970's, Dr. Baumann now writes books defending spirituality, based upon proven scientific doctrines. For instance, the world's major religions all describe God in terms of Light. Near-death experiences describe going to a light that is welcoming, intelligent, and loving. Quantum physics reveals that physical light is omnipresent (everywhere), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent, and even "conscious" - the result of light's peculiar quantum nature and existence outside of time. Lee is the author of God at the Speed of Light: The Melding of Science and Spirituality (one of the physics books to have inspired the popular CBS TV series "Joan of Arcadia"), Window to God: A Medical and Scientific Analysis of the Edgar Cayce Readings, The Akashic Light: Religion's Common Thread (a comparative religious text which examines the supernatural qualities of light throughout the world's religions), Matter to Mind to Consciousness: Anatomy of the E.L.F. (a scientific and medical explanation for our human awareness and thought--and also for many types of paranormal phenomena), and his Nondenominational Quantum Spirituality Manual for Hospice Patients and their Families.
