The Solitary Mans Post Apocalyptic Grid

The Preppers prevail in book 3 of the Solitary Man Series. This is a short novelette. A solar storm has taken out the Nation's electrical grid but Donald was ready for it and has prepped the finest solution available in the form of his very own solar generator. The survivors have to bug out of the farmstead as wildfires, looters and bad water threaten their existence. They are going to try to make it through the roads of a desperate world to a youth summer camp recreational area to carry on their lives and they will be the ones that thrive. Modern civilization travels with them because they have the means to run electric tools and a lap top computer that was protected by a faraday cage. The encyclopedias full of knowledge of how to live off the land, treat illness and kick start an industrial society remains at their fingertips if they can hold on to it and protect it.
