About the Author
Lance Cleveland is not an author. He is a dad. He just happens to be a dad that told a story one day when someone, at just the right moment, said "you should write a book." As with any other day that someone might make that comment, everyone laughed and carried on with other things. But on THAT day, something was different. Somehow that comment planted a seed in his brain. It got lodged deep down in the that craggly old brain of his, stuck somewhere between thoughts of daddyism and all things wonderful in life. It was there that the seed took root. It grew, much like the splinter tree... and somehow a children's picture book was born.
