About the Author
Jerry Bruckner is an American author, publisher, husband and proud father of his energetic and creative 3-three-year-old girl, Brianna Bruckner. Jerry was born and raised in New York City. He is committed to personal growth and mentoring others to help them grow, develop and succeed. Jerry studied various martial arts for 25 years and was the Captain of his College's Karate team. He also was a member of his College's competitive swim team, and was a co-winner of the College's grueling 500 mile swim, bike and run competition, which raised money for charity. Jerry has served as an American Red Cross Certified Life Guard Instructor, and has taught swimming to many people from age 2 to 70. After a much less than stellar start, Jerry graduated with Honors from College, attended and graduated from New York Law School, and practiced Law for 10 years in the New York State and Federal Courts, focusing on cases that helped people, including free pro bono cases to help low income people create Wills and handle their other family issues. A lover of all types of music, Jerry plays guitar and also started a company that provided live concert sound systems to rock bands. Jerry admits to having a geek side and loves technology. He taught himself computer programming, initially as a hobby, and went on to work on very large and complex software development projects for one of the largest software companies in the world. He has also managed software development projects that collaborated across multiple countries. One of Jerry's personal convictions that describes his attitude toward personal development is: "You only get one chance to play the game of life... be thankful for every day and whatever you have... give it all you got... with whatever you've got... to do your best to reach your maximum potential to provide for yourself and your family, and to give back to the Community!"
