About the Author

David Schwinger is a retired educator who spent his entire career teaching mathematics at City College of New York. He was known for his unique sense of humor and his knack for making mathematics understandable and interesting, and was very popular with his students.

After engaging in a secret relationship with one of his students, the two ended up getting married-and it was this relationship, combined with his love of murder mysteries and years of classroom experience, that inspired his debut book, The Teacher's Pet Murders.
