About the Author
Debra is a Registered Social Worker and has a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. She has extensive experience working with children and parents both educationally and therapeutically. She works as the School Counsellor at private Elementary school in Toronto, Canada. Prior to that she was the School Psychologist at a High School in South Africa. She also lectured at medical school at the University of Witwatersrand, Sout Africa and lectured to psychology students at Rhodes University in South Africa. Prior to that she worked as a Social Worker at the Johannesburg hospital . She has written and published two other children's books . "David goes to play therapy" and "Memories and Reflections of my school years." She is married and has 3 children and lives in Toronto. She is a certified Yoga teacher and loves practicing yoga.
