About the Author
Laura J. Moyers has been teaching music in the public school system for twenty-five years. She was recently recognized as 2013 Regional Teacher of the Year. In just twenty-four months, her innovative efforts garnered her school's music department over $17,000 in grants, including 20th Century Fox/N.A.F.M.E. and Glee Mash Up awards. She is an accomplished speaker, children's entertainer, ventriloquist, singer/pianist, and published songwriter. Her "Soldier's Tribute" CD contributed nearly $4,000 to various veteran assistance groups, including The Wounded Warrior Fund and Army Community Service. She is active in her church's music and children's programs. She lives in Kansas with her husband, and cats Katie and Oliver.
