About the Author
Following thirty years teaching/counseling young and middle-aged, nervous adults regarding the niceties of verbatim Court Reporting in the San Francisco Bay Area, e.g., how to speak, read and write with some small degree of finesse, I retired to the exalted environs of Nevada City, CA in the Sierra Foothills to pursue the "Good Life" consisting of various writing/study projects, "Myth as Metaphor" monthly seminar joint presentations continuing in the steps of Joseph Campbell, intensive gardening (a form of physio/psychotherapy), renovation of an 1867 former farmhouse located in Nevada City, various high level DJ programming activities on KVMR Community Radio, ghost writing and editing, continuing European travels, volunteer work on the Boards of the United Nations Association and the Twin Cities Concert Association and as volunteer Bereavement Facilitator for six years with Hospice of the Foothills while still preserving sufficient time and sanity to meditate and continue the creative process indirectly aided by two and one-half years of Jungian Dream Analysis leading to the happy conclusion that life is not at all dull or terminal at age 85 years...........HA!
