About the Author
Stacey Sly is a Behavior Interventionist. Although it is her profession, she has also made it her personal mission to help children experiencing the adverse effects of trauma. She is an advocate for education reform, and believes strongly that teachers need to be better equipped to help these students. She is also an advocate for social reform and is tackling this issue as a community issue, not just a school issue. Sly has her Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree in Special Education as well as a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership. Sly has taught children with autism, has fostered nine children, and has seven children and two grandchildren of her own. Sly is happily married and intends to live happily ever after... She will not rest until all children have the same opportunity: to live happily ever after.
