About the Author
Debra Tasci is a Licensed Psychologist with over thirty-five years experience in the field of mental health helping individuals and families deal with their grief and trauma. She has extensive experience in trauma debriefing and treatment with airline personnel, law enforcement, emergency medical workers, and victims of crime. She holds a master's degree in Social Work and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, and holds board certification in police and public safety by the American Board for Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Tasci has been on staff with Nicoletti-Flater Associates since 1996. For a comprehensive list of publications produced by NFA staff, see page 100. Charlene Slover is a Licensed Psychologist with over thirty years experience in private practice. She specializes in trauma, crime victimization, and traumatic grief. She holds a master's degree in Counseling and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Slover teaches and consults with Victim Services programs in the Denver area.
