About the Author
A Michigan native, Dr. Scarpino attended Michigan State University and graduated with a B.A. in English Education. He taught high school English in Connecticut, while pursuing an M.S. degree in Counseling from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The author completed his doctoral work, earning a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from The University of Michigan. An interest in human behavior and thought processes informs much of the author's poetry.
