About the Author
Paula Smith Broadnax, a retired AT&T manager, held numerous managerial positions during her 30-year career in the telecommunications industry. Upon retirement she decided to use the skills acquired during her AT&T career to become an entrepreneur and make her dream a reality after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Paula went on to become a successful innkeeper of a bed and breakfast inn (InnParadise) on St. Croix in the U. S. Virgin Islands. After spending five years on St. Croix living her dream, Paula returned to Georgia desiring to be an active part of the lives of their thirteen grandchildren (who all live nearby). She worked for two years for the Department of Commerce as an Administrative Specialist during the 2010 Census. As she continued with her entrepreneurial spirit, Paula wrote her first book, Dreams, Hopes and Possibilities...a Breast Cancer Survivor's Story of a Dream Come True. Compelling and powerful, the book details her journey from diagnosis to living her dream. Paula also started her business known as Legacy Creations to inspire others to understand the value of leaving a godly legacy for the world and our families strategically and financially.
