Is biographical fiction based in part on the Childhood, and Vietnam tour, of John Mizell. It's the story of a life, led at the edges of what we call, society, to a man that was death's friend, in times of war, and peace. The strange, bloody, funny, tragic, and amazing days that saw him grow from a persecuted, aphonic child on dirt roads in a town with no name in Southern Alabama, to a married man in a violent Vietnam making a last stand against overwhelming odds to save his young, beautiful, and affluent French-Vietnamese wife.

John, served in the Marine Core, from 1965 till he was sent home in 1971, he went to work for the Treasury Dept., in 1974, he is retired and lives in Roy, Utah now.
