Ian Callaway, a well-known scientist, is a believer in facts, logic, and reason. Until his mentor asks him to do him a simple favor, his life is a mathematical calculation that always adds up. As a result of this favor, he is forced to leave his laboratory and runs into Grace O'Malley, a gorgeous, free-spirited elementary school teacher who believes in love and miracles.
