About the Author
'To know how, how does it happen that the seed of an idea blossoms within the awareness and consciousness of the soul, and what determines what action they may take on that.' David Wilfrid Berresford was born in the Waikato, migrated to the north to finish his schooling and then to Wellington during his late teens, early twenties. He has lived in Auckland, New Zealand since he was 26. As a young man his journey took him from eastern mysticism as a sixteen year old; the Russian philosophy of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky at seventeen, being a student in the School of Philosophy studying practical philosophy until his late forties when he took to the stage, which he describes as 'teaching me in one night more than 30 years in the study of philosophy'. In 2001 after completing the role of 'King Lear' in Shakespeare's play of the same name, he had a conversation with a Spiritual Master, Raman Pascha, also known as the Master Khamouri, channelled by Yasmeen Clark. 'Windows in the Sky, Buddha is that you' is the story of this meeting. It is an unusual story of how the energy of an ascended Master, may release us from the power of limiting beliefs. It elucidates in a very easy to read and conversational style many 'new energy' ideas tying 'New Age' to neuroscience and mysticism and then 'holding the mirror up to nature' by showing how these ideas can be enacted in our life. David describes himself as a very normal sort of man. David Berresford actor, performance poet, writer and perennial philosopher... You may read contact him at davidberresford@yahoo.com and he would love to talk with you. Apart from the fact that he has always rather loved his middle name, in this case it serves the practical function of distinguishing him from his son David, also a writer whose books are also being made available on Amazon and other epub.
