Tina L. Freiburger is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her main areas of research include gender and racial/ethnic disparities in the judicial system, and women in the criminal justice system. Catherine D. Marcum is an associate professor of criminal justice at Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina.
